City Press newspaper has repeatedly reported on a deep rooted and negative attitude towards public property and public facilities. We think its time for a paradigm shift – public institutions and facilities belong to all South Africans and we need to respect them, use them well and protect them. City Press aim is to lead South Africans in shaping the country by instilling a sense of ownership in public facilities. We need your help in showing your fellow South Africans that it’s up to us to change our disrespectful and destructive attitudes. We need to remind all South African’s that taking care and looking after public property is something cool to do, something to be admired and respected. BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE As the biggest English newspaper aimed at the Black market and the third biggest newspaper in the country with a circulation of 197 000 (Audit Bureau of Circulations, Jan-July 2005), City Press is the best channel to pro-actively reach South Africans. It’s time we made positive change happen in South Africa so spread the word and lets see the change we want to happen right here, right now! |
